Thercon testing 1800 mm LHP. Antigravity position test

Thercon thermal engineers has tested ammonia-based LHP for heat transfer capacity in differnet orientation in space.

• LHP has 2 mm diameter in a heat transport zone and 11 mm diameter in a heating zone.

• Overall LHP length - 1800 mm

• max temperature at the heating zone + 30C

• tempeerature at the cooling zone - + 20 C

• Max heat transfer capacity in antigravity position - 80 Wt

• Max heat transfer capacity in horizontal position - 110 Wt

• Max heat transfer capacity in thermal syphon position (vertical) - 120 Wt
